Synopses
Instructions for using Synopsis Files
1. Synopsis Files should be unzipped in the \init\ subfolder of BibleWorks
2. When you restart BibleWorks, synopsis files must be loaded in the Synopsis Tool (“Tools: Viewing the Text: Synopsis Window”.
3. Load them by navigating to the synopsis file (BibleWorks 8\init\) “File: Open”

Reference Systems for Josephus (25kb): While not a ’synopsis’ per se, Andrew Steimann has provided a key to the different numbering systems used to reference the works of Josephus. To install, unzip the contents of the folder into your bibleworks\notes directory. Keep in mind that these files will overwrite any chapter-level notes you have created for Josephus.

I can’t get these synopses to show up in BW8. I have copied the files to the userdb folder but nothing happens. Is there something else I need to do?

Synopses files are not the same as the other files. So you load it under “Tools: Viewing the Text: Synopsis Window”. Load them by navigating to wherever you parked the synopsis files “File: Open”
