Readings in Greek using BibleWorks in Malaysia

Written by jdarlack on September 23rd, 2009

Kar Yong of “the homilia of a budding NT scholar” blog, recently posted about an elective course he taught, titled “Readings in Greek Using BibleWorks.” It’s an interesting concept for a course.

The primary focus of this reading course is to increase the reading proficiency of Greek, have a better grasp of the command of Greek syntactical analysis, and to explore extra-biblical literature in Greek. At the same, much of our grammatical analysis was carried out using Bibleworks, and this also helped the students to familiarise themselves with the use of the software.

Kar Yong serves as Lecturer in New Testament Studies & Assistant Director of Postgraduate Studies at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia, Seremban, Malaysia. He’s also a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (where I work).
